august 20, 21, & 22
In anticipation of Nashville still being under covid spacing restrictions in August, Nashcon has reduced the number of tables to give us room. This has reduced the number of passes available for our tournaments and the number of tables overall. The good news is we are seeing covid restrictions being lifted as more people are vaccinated and the number of hospitalizations continue to decrease.
Nashcon will continue to monitor the changes and work with the hotel to add more tables as allowed. When we add tables and increase tournament passes we will announce it on the website and on our Facebook page.
Because we are expecting changes in covid requirements between now and August, Nashcon is waiting to list what will be required at the convention until August 1st.
HMGS MidSouth is glad to announce that Nashcon will be back in 2021 at the Sheraton Music City Hotel. With all the time we have had at home this year we are looking forward to seeing what everyone has been building and painting.
We are now accepting game submissions. Click the link below to submit your game. Early registration is now open. Scroll down to purchase a pass.
If you are entering a tournament you do not need to purchase a weekend pass.
The Con within a Con
Johnny Con is an annual gathering of fans of the rules and games of the late John Hill, with the focus on his famous set of ACW rules “Johnny Reb”. We have recently been getting together every year as part of Nashcon and if you are interested in playing or learning these fantastic rules there is no better place to do it!
Most of these game masters were original play-testers, developers and designers of “Johnny Reb” and this is a great chance to come out and play with some of the guys that were in John Hill’s gaming group and helped develop “Johnny Reb” into what it has become over the years. This is a group of friendly gamers that enjoy teaching the rules to others, so no worries if you’ve never played before....you will be welcomed!
